Another CS:GO Patch Released Bringing Further Improvements to Animations

Valve have gotten the ball rolling with the wildly successful patch which brought major improvements to animations, to hit boxes and did away with a massive number of annoying bugs, and they're not about to stop now. A couple of days ago (on September 24 to be exact), fresh in the wake of the above said historic tweaks, they released yet another patch, which contained another set of animation improvements as well as a number of Music Kits that players can now purchase.

What exactly are we talking about? Animation-wise, possibly the most important tweaks of the current patch were aimed at improving CPU performance. While such improvements aren't really likely to be noticed by most players, they are indeed important in the big scheme of things.

Walk/Run transition has been smoothened out as well: when the speed changed rapidly, there used to be unsightly disruptions to the animation, an issue now resolved. Talking about walk animation: the foot-plants have been improved through this patch as well.

Last, but not least, there used to be a bug with crouched defusal too: the matrix has been fixed and this issue has been ironed out as well.

In addition to these actual game-tweaks, the September 24 patch brought a number of Official Competitive MVP Music Kits too that have been made available to players. These kits used to be available as StatTrak Music Kit offers, but now they're available as normal Music Kit offers too. The new selection includes artists like Darude, Mord Fustang, Daniel Sadowski, Lennie Moore, Michael Bross, Skog, Proxy, New Beat Fund and others.

The bottom line: while not nearly as epic as the previous patch, the September 24 CS:GO update does deliver animation/gameplay-wise and the new Music Kits are a nice touch too.
